Graduation Fee: All seniors must pay the graduation fee. If you have a Graduation cap and gown from a sibling/friend that graduated in the past 4 years, you may use those items and not purchase a new set (tassel will be sold separately).  You must let Mrs. Rocco know in order to pay a reduced graduation fee rate. Please note that any set older than four years will not match the tone and sheen of the product used this year.  Unpaid graduation fees will become an obligation.

 

If you do not intend to participate in the graduation ceremony, there is a reduced graduation fee. Contact Mrs. Rocco to let her know your intentions and find out how much you will owe.

 

January 1 -April 5, 2020:  Graduation Fee– Paid by all seniors- You may pay online with a credit card or debit card or with cash or check or card to the activities office. Make checks payable to Spruce Creek High School. Graduation fees are $80.00

 

February 3-13, 2020:  Grad Bash Tickets on Sale - See Mrs. Rocco in the Activities Office before or after school or during lunch to purchase your Grad Bash Ticket.  Tickets will only be sold on these four days, or until they are sold out. The cost is $120 and includes admission and charter bus transportation. Grad Bash Night is April 3, 2020

 

April 2, 2020: Senior Speaker try-outs – Sign up in advance in the Activities Office.    

 

April 3, 2020:  Grad Bash    - At Universal Studios / Islands of Adventure from

7pm – 2am (Buses leave at 5:00pm) Tickets are only sold for this in February.        

 

April 6-8, 2020: Cap & Gown Delivery Days – Caps & gowns will be distributed to those who have paid their Graduation fee. Announcements and other graduation supplies ordered will be distributed at this time by Jostens.

 

April 20, 2020:  Purchase Graduation Tickets and Parking Passes – Prices TBA

Every guest attending our Graduation ceremony must have a ticket to enter the Ocean Center. Once all seniors have had the opportunity to purchase up to 10 tickets each, remaining tickets will go on sale for families who may need more.

 

April 25, 2020: Prom – Daytona 500 Club, 7PM – 11pm.  To purchase a ticket, all obligations must be paid, and detentions served.

May TBA 2020: Senior Breakfast- 8:00AM at SCHS Cafeteria.  Location may change.

                                                                                                                   

May 26, 2020: Graduation Practice – MANDATORY, (students only)

 7:30am at the Ocean Center.  All students must provide their own transportation.  This is a required practice for all seniors planning to participate in the Graduation ceremony. Students who do not attend this practice may not walk at Graduation. Do not wear your cap and gown.

 

May 26, 2020: Baccalaureate Service, A Night of Reflection

First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach 313 North Tomoka Farms Road at 7:00PM. Planned and produced by the Parent Advisory Committee. Students must arrive at 6:30PM dressed in cap and gown. Families are welcome! The event is for all graduating seniors. Will last approximately one hour.

 

May 28, 2020: Senior Awards Program

Held at the Bethune Cookman University Performing Arts Center at 7:00PM.  All Seniors, families and friends are encouraged to attend and share in the various accomplishments of the senior class. Seniors must report at 6:30PM to balcony level of the auditorium dressed in cap and gown. Honor cords will be distributed that evening. Families are welcome! Will last approximately 3 hours

 

May 30, 2020: Graduation Ceremony - will be held at the Ocean Center at 8:30am

Seniors should report to their assigned area at the Ocean Center one hour  before the ceremony, dressed in cap and gown, to line up

for the processional. The graduation ceremony will last approximately 90 minutes, and it may take up to an hour to exit the Daytona Beach area.
