Emergency & Safety Guide
In the event that safety and physical needs of students at Spruce Creek High School cannot be met on campus due to weather, lack of sanitation, water, or a continued threat to the campus, procedures are in place to evacuate to Creekside Middle School or Spruce Creek Elementary School.
Spruce Creek High School has a written agreement with these locations to provide temporary shelter. The district would provide any needed transportation as soon as drivers can be dispatched. Teachers will ensure that students remain together as a class at the time of evacuation. Early release procedures will be implemented. Should conditions permit, students who have their own transportation at Spruce Creek High School will be returned to the student parking lot via school bus once the parents/guardians have given their approval. Students not receiving release approval will remain at the evacuation location under teacher supervision until transported home at the end of the regular school day.
Important Addresses:

- Spruce Creek Elementary School: 642 Taylor Rd, Port Orange
