Textbooks (Including Dual Enrollment)

All textbooks are checked out from and returned to the media center during normal hours (8:00-4:00). All VCS textbooks can also be accessed digitally inside vportal. See your teacher for directions. 

DSC Dual Enrollment Textbook and Access Code Directions

All textbooks and access codes are purchased by Volusia County Schools when you participate in Dual Enrollment and must be returned to the media center upon completing the class or you will be charged for the books.

1.   Visit Daytona.bncollege.com (the Daytona State online bookstore).

2.   Click on sign in/create account and sign in with your DSC school login. It will then pull up the materials you need for each of your classes. You can also search by course without logging in if you know your course department, course #, and section.

3.   Come to the SCHS media center with screenshots or your device that you can login to and show us what you need.

4.   We will check out the materials to you, request them from the district, or provide you with a voucher if needed to pick them up from the DSC bookstore.

5.   All materials belong to Volusia County Schools and must be returned to the media center within one week of the end of the course or you will be charged for the materials.

6.   We can check out materials starting one week before the course start date as long as you do not have any outstanding DSC materials in your name.

The media center is open most days from 8-3:45 to assist you, but check the school testing calendar to ensure we are not closed for testing before you come. If you do not have classes on the SCHS campus at all, please reach out to Mrs. Murray at shmurray@volusia.k12.fl.us to schedule a time to pick up materials so that you don't come when we are testing. 

The media center is not open in the summer, so you will reach out to the district office for materials if you did not pick them up before the last day of school. Please email ldmayo@volusia.k12.fl.us.
