INFORMATION ON DISCIPLINE CONSEQUENCES
DETENTION
- LUNCH DETENTION – TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS
Report to designated room on time. Bring schoolwork, homework, reading material, paper and pencil. There will be no talking, eating, drinking, or cell phone use. Sleeping will not be allowed.
STUDENTS MUST SHOW IDENTIFICATION TO ATTEND DETENTIONS.
IN-SCHOOL SUSPENSION
Report to ISS Room at the start of first period. Bring books, paper, and pencil. There will be no talking, eating or drinking. Sleeping will not be allowed. Failure to attend and follow rules of In School Suspension (ISS) could result in assignment of additional day or out of school suspension.
NOTE: DUE TO DISTRICT-WIDE PROGRAM CHANGES, SOME ON-SITE DISCIPLINARY OPTIONS MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE. IN THAT EVENT, OTHER DISCIPLINARY OPTIONS WILL APPLY.
OUT OF SCHOOL SUSPENSION
You may not attend any school activities or visit any district school while on suspension. Trespassing charges may be filed. Students should, upon return from suspension, see each teacher regarding assignments and make up work. Students returning from out of school suspension must get an “admit to class” pass from the Dean’s Office.
NOTE: FAILURE TO ATTEND DETENTION OR ALTERNATIVE EDUCATION MAY ALSO RESULT IN THE LOSS OF PRIVILEGE TO ATTEND THE HOMECOMING DANCE, PROM, GRAD NITE, LEAVE CAMPUS FOR LUNCH, PARK ON CAMPUS, OR PARTICIPATE IN OTHER EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES.
