FAQ’s

We are leaving Creek at 5pm (be in our Auditorium at 4pm) and will return to Creek about 4am Saturday morning.  Tickets are $79 and include admission and transportation.  Tickets are only sold on February 7th, 8th & 9th in the Activities Office.  Please see the answers below to some of the most commonly asked questions about Grad Bash.

  • I have a season pass or a ticket to Universal that I won – can I use that for my admission to Grad Bash?
Answer:               No. Grad Bash is a private party, and Universal Studios / Islands of Adventure/City Walk are all closed to the public and no public tickets or passes are honored for this event.
  • Why can’t we wear our Senior Class shirts or other Creek items?
Answer:               This is for your safety.  Senior students from all over the country will be at this event. What if someone from another school is still mad that they lost to Creek – they could decide to take it out on you – make sense?
  • Why do we have to follow such a strict dress-code?
Answer:               Grad Nite and Grad Bash used to be a semi-formal events (think Homecoming or Prom), so they have come a long way in what they will allow you to wear.  The primary reason is safety – long chains, spiked high heels, hats, etc., can all pose a safety hazard. Also, since this is a school-sponsored function, you must follow the Volusia County School Board dress code. Another reason pertains to copyright laws – Universal photographers will be snapping tons of pictures throughout the event to be used in future marketing. If they were to choose a photo of you wearing a “Hollister” shirt, Universal would have to pay royalties to Hollister.  To limit time wasted with unusable photos, they want you in generic clothes so they can possibly include you in a future ad campaign. A final reason is pride – you should remember you are representing yourselves, your friends and families, and your school.  You should want to look your best and act appropriately at all times so you can fully enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime experience. Be the Class-with-class!
  • Can I drive myself to and from Grad Bash?
Answer:               No.  Universal Studios will not allow students to enter this event individually. You must arrive with your group in approved and registered transportation.
  • I know we have to be “in class for at least 5 consecutive periods” on that Friday, but I am dual-enrolled and don’t have 5 classes at Creek.  Does that mean I can’t go to Grad Bash?
Answer:               No, you can still be eligible to go to Grad Bash, as long as you are on Creek’s campus for all of your Creek classes, and you attend your DSC/FLVS classes that day as well.  Do what you are supposed to do and all will be well.  Attendance is verified, and students who missed class will not be allowed to board the bus or go to Grad Bash.

April 28

All obligations must be paid, and detentions and Saturday Schools served in order to purchase a ticket.
