Dave Ramey
Head Coach 1985-1988
Coach Ramey was the fifth Head Football Coach at Spruce Creek serving from 1985-1988. 

Coach Ramey played high school football at Mainland with Coach Hergert (Creek Head Coach1991-1993) in the 1950s. He graduated from Florida University.  He served as an assistant coach for previous Creek coaches Jim Matthews, Terry Manfredi and Brent Hall and later with Coach Baylor. 

Coach Ramey is, perhaps, best known as the Spruce Creek Weight Lifting Team Coach.  In fact, when Coach Ramey took over as Head Football Coach , his weight lifting teams had won the State Championship in six of the previous seven years.  Coach Ramey continued to coach weight lifting after retiring from football. Under Coach Ramey, Spruce won State Weight Lifting Championships in 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1984, 1986, 1987, 1988,1989, 1992, 1994 and 1995.

The Hawks football record  from 1985-1988 was 14 - 25.
