Coach Matthews was
the second Head Football Coach at Spruce Creek serving in the position
in 1976. His previous head coaching job was at Mainland High School
from 1959-1961.
In addition to coaching football, Coach Matthews was a Physical Education teacher. Other interest included: camping, tennis, golf, hunting and fishing. The Hawks record in 1976 was 2-8. |
