Welcome to the 2007-2008 season!

We finished our season 20-4-2 and were in the Final 4 for the first time ever. We played the defending state champs Miami Varela (also ranked #1 in nation) Friday, February 15, in Fort Lauderdale. Unfortunately our quest for the state title stopped there.

We defeated FPC 1-0 (5-4 on penalty kicks) for the district title, Orange Park 4-1 in the Region quarterfinal, FPC again 2-1 (4-3 on penalty kicks) in the Region semi and Winter Park 2-0 in the Regional Final. Congratulations Soccer Hawks for a great season!

Congratulations to Coach Juan Arrietta, Head Coach of the Spruce Creek Boys Soccer Team, who has been named Coach of the Year by the East Central Florida Referees Association. He received this honor because “Coach Arrietta got the most from the players he had on the team, set a positive example even when things did not go the team’s way and demonstrated professionalism and leadership at all times.” Great job, Coach!
