Congratulations to the boys varsity cross country team for winning the 5 star conference cross country championship at DeLand this October. Our guys dethroned FPC and won the conference for the first time in 21 years! The seven varsity runners which all contributed to the victory are Alex Frazier, Joey Elsakr, Ryan Gaines, Michael Rendon, Chris Moody, Greg Frye and Taylor Mularkey. Frazier, Elsakr, and Gaines were also named to the First Team All Conference while Rendon and Moody were on the Second Team All Conference, and Mularkey and Frye were honorable mentions.
The boys JV cross country team won the 5 star conference JV championship. Leading the way were Mark Poulsen, Johnson Kung, Jacob Parker, and Kyle Hannabass, who captured 1st through 4th place and Jacob Parker who finished 8th. Way to go, guys!

Congratulations to the girls cross country team for winning the five star conference meet yesterday at DeLand. The Lady Hawks set a conference record yesterday with a low score of 19 points, taking seven of the top 8 places. Congratulations to Mandy Perkins for finishing first. Also running outstanding for the Lady Hawks and making First Team All Conference along with Mandy were Brooke Nebel, Raksha Ravikumar, Kalyn Wyckoff, Kacie Meredith, Marlo Pagano and Elizabeth Sridhar. Way to go, ladies!
Also, the JV team won the JV conference meet with a perfect score of 15 points! Running outstanding and finishing first was Brenna Mathis, followed by Kristi Dematteo, Heather Garrow, Robin Pecoraro and Jessica Stuvenberg. Great job!
