Algebra I Students:
Due to a recent change in state policy, effective with the 2010-11 school year (and thereafter) all students enrolled in Algebra I, Algebra I Honors or Algebra Ib will be required to take a state Algebra I end-of-course examination.
In addition, for those students who entered ninth grade for the first time in the 2010-2011 school year, the Algebra I end-of-course exam will count 30% of the student’s final grade. The student’s final grade and credit will not be reflected on the report card until the exam results are available. At that time, students will receive separate notification with their final course and exam grade. A full credit will be awarded at that time for students who receive a passing grade of D or higher for the entire course. |
