We are currently accepting applications for the 2010-2011 school year. Current VCS middle school students should complete the application and return it to us. Students who have most recently been enrolled in a private school or home school setting should complete both the application and three teacher recommendations.
Student eligibility is determined by such factors as academic performance, attendance, and conduct. Entrance to the Academy of Finance is limited to 9th and 10th grades based on space availability.
Applications should be postmarked no later than April 30, 2010. Applications turned in after this date may not be considered. It is strongly advised to have applications turned in by February 19, 2010.
Completion of the Academy of Finance helps to prepare students for post-secondary education, not only in finance-related majors, but also for any program requiring a strong foundation in business, social studies, math, and language arts.
