Photo Day

Underclassmen photos are Tuesday, September 27, 2016. All students in grades 9-11 are to be photographed. You will be allowed to change for your photo but must change back into uniform afterwards. Photos will be taken in your English class. If you don’t have an English class, see Coach Mowrey in room 0-22.



College Expo

Attention Juniors and Seniors: The College Expo will take place Monday evening at Mainland High School from 5:30 -7:30. There will also be a Financial aid presentation at 5:30 and 6:30. Now is your chance to ask the colleges all those burning questions you have. See you Monday night.

Flu Vaccine

Flu shots will be available Thursday, October 13th from 7:45 am – 9:45 am. Students who have a completed form will be able to have flu shot administered. The form has to be downloaded and filled out by a parent/guardian order to receive the vaccine.  Please bring completed forms to the Dean’s office by October 10.



PSAT Information for 10th & 11th Graders

Taking the Test

The PSAT/NMSQT will be administered on Wednesday, October 19th to all 10th graders for free of charge and to 11th graders who register online or with Mrs. Copp in the IB office before school, during lunch or after school by September 2nd. Juniors will need to pay $15.00 to take the PSAT, but sophomores will automatically be provided this opportunity. Sophomores will take the test with their advisement class and juniors will be assigned a testing location in October.  This opportunity is not available to freshman or seniors.

  1. Take a practice test to see what the tests are like and get a personalized skills workout. Click for free practice.
  2. Decide if you want to opt in to Student Search Service.®
  3. If you need College Board testing accommodations for students with disabilities, talk to your counselor, application for accommodations are due by August 30th.
  4. If you're home-schooled you can take the test at Atlantic High School. Please contact Danielle Leffler.
